Funerals

Independent Celebrant Warwickshire

CELEBRATING LIFE

As an Independent Celebrant I will create a funeral service that acknowledges your loss and celebrates the very special life of your loved one. I will help you find the words and music so the service reflects the life that has ended, I can also suggest poetry and readings that will reflect their personality and it will recognise their beliefs and those left behind

FUNERALS

Because I offer you choice. You may not attend church regularly but have a belief in god, I will also conduct semi religious services which will include prayers or hymns in a service created around you and your loved one.

You might not want any religious content at all and that is also fine, I will create a very special service for your loved one.
Whichever service you choose I will write words that celebrate the life of the one you have lost. A Civil Funeral conducted by an Independent Celebrant is a funeral which is driven by the beliefs wishes and values of the deceased and their family, not by the beliefs or ideology of the person conducting the funeral.

Non-religious funeral ceremonies can be conducted at your choice of crematorium, I also conduct burials and memorial ceremonies.

Non religious funeral ceremonies can be conducted at your choice of crematorium, I also conduct burials and memorial ceremonies. I work across Warwickshire, being based in Wolston, ideally situated between Coventry and Rugby.

A Celebrant Led Funeral

A Celebrant Led Funeral

Holding a Celebrant Led Funeral There are many options for people to choose from when they’re organising a funeral, and just one of them is to consider a Celebrant led service. To help people decide if this is right for them, I thought it might be useful to detail...

What is a Celebrant?

What is a Celebrant?

What is a Celebrant? This is a question I get asked all the time. To be honest, I’d not heard of the term myself until I was arranging my father’s funeral a few years ago. Therefore, I thought it might be useful to detail what a Celebrant is, why you might need one...

Jennifer Johnson

“Lauren officiated at our Dads funeral and we were so grateful for her support and attention to detail as well as her sensitivity and her kind words at the service. We weren’t just another funeral, we definitely felt that she understood us as individual’s and she took time to talk to us and get to know our lovely dad.”

Roy J –  A Celebration

“There are times when there are not enough words to say thank you. Lauren, you organised and were able to deliver words with meaning, kindness and compassion……..the spirit of the occasion was exactly right and in Joan’s words –‘it was not a funeral but a celebration which you archived’.”

A celebration of her life

“I would like to thank you for the service you provided for mum’s funeral.  It really did seem like a celebration of her life, and my uncle and aunts would like to thank you for making them feel so included in the proceedings, and lots of mums friends commented on how nice a service it was, so once again thank you so much for everything.”

CELEBRATING LIFE

Working alongside you..

I will create a funeral service that acknowledges your loss and celebrates the very special life of your loved one. I will help you find the words and music so the service reflects the life that has ended, I can also suggest poetry and readings that will reflect their personality and it will recognise their beliefs and those left behind.

On the day of the funeral I will lead your service and support you, your family and friends, as you say your goodbyes.

Please be assured that, during one of the most difficult times that we face the service will be written and delivered with professionalism, respect and from the heart.

How do I work?

I will meet with you and your family and we will discuss what you would like to include in your service. We will discuss the life of your loved one and I will create a service with words until you are happy with the content. The funeral service memories will last a lifetime so it is very important that is right. I can contact relatives who may not be within visiting distance if necessary.

I will provide you with a full copy of the service in a presentation folder. Whatever, your wishes are I will work closely with you and the Funeral Director to make sure that you can say goodbye to your loved one in the most appropriate way.
