Your Wedding Ceremony
Did you know that your wedding ceremony can be held anywhere that is
special to you and that you don’t have to be restricted to only using approved or licensed venues?
Your relationship is unique, there is no other relationship like it. You are two people coming together in your own special way, why not have a ceremony which truly expresses your love and commitment to each other in a totally bespoke, personalised and meaningful way with a Wedding Celebrant?
Why settle for a restrictive formality which is nothing more than a transaction when you can celebrate your love in your own way?
‘Your Voice, Your Choice, Your Ceremony’
– The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants motto –

What is a wedding celebrant?
A Ceremony with a Wedding Celebrant has no restrictions in terms of the content, format or style of a wedding, and can therefore be completely personalised.
My ceremonies contain many of the elements that you and your guests would expect to see at a wedding (exchange of vows and rings etc), but also lots of beautiful details about the couple and often guest involvement too. This means the ceremony is warm and relaxed, and ensures we create lovely lasting memories for everyone attending.
HOW I WORK
Save the date!
The first thing to check is, am I free on your chosen date? Fingers crossed it’s all good, so we can start on our journey together, so exciting!
Getting to know you
I love to get to know my couples and where possible meet up for a coffee, cake and chat, it’s so important we get on and that you like and trust me with one of the most important days of your life!!
Of course, there is always Zoom and Whatsapp, if we are restricted as in recent times! I then pencil in your provisional date for 14 days, giving you time to make a decision, and that becomes ‘set in stone’ when you send ‘save your date’ deposit over!
Staying in touch
I keep in touch and about six months before the big day I send over a questionnaire, so as I can get to know you better, from this I draft a script, including suggestions on poem’s, readings and music if you need them!
The balance payment is due 28 days before the day, and you will receive your draft script just after this!
You can add, edit change this and we decide on a final version way before the big day! I also add last minute changes if required and sometimes ask that you keep your vows secret until the day, I love the element of surprise and so will your other half, it’s a really magical moment!
We will have met a few times by now, I love coffee and cake, and we will most definitely meet the day or week before the day for the ‘all important’ rehearsal.
On The Day
On the day I always arrive early and set up my speaker if required, liaising with the music maestro and I also ensure your photographer knows my running order – we must make sure he captures those special moments, ring exchange, vows and most importantly that beautiful – you may kiss your bride/groom – moment!!
Our relationship
I hope I become more than just the person who conducts your wedding, I am in touch with all my couples, we have become such good friends on our journey together and I can’t wait to connect with you !
