I have always said I am a warm down to earth northern person, no airs and graces here, just laid back with lots of smiles, giving joy to others and making their day is so rewarding!

A stunning set up at a beautiful hotel @bankhouseworcesterweddings today for the lovely Philip and Hayley!

They first contacted me around two years ago to conduct their vow renewal, they married on Valentines Day ten years ago, just the two of them and two witnesses - ten years on and two gorgeous children later they wanted to celebrate their relationship with family and friends -and exchange wedding rings, they hadn’t worn any until today !

We created a lovely, very personalised intimate ceremony, with new vows reflecting their enduring and ongoing love for each other ! 💕

Thanks to the lovely hotel team, who provided delicious coffee and @tom_hurford_photography , great to meet you !!

Happy February everyone, a few days late!!

And what a busy month it is, next week it’s Pancake Day and then Valentine’s Day and of course it is a Leap Year, so if you have your sights set on someone special, get planning!

I have a very special ceremony planned, for a gorgeous couple, who married on Valentine’s Day ten years ago, wow, how romantic!!
Due to circumstances, they couldn’t celebrate as they wished at the time so we have created the ceremony of their dreams, new rings, children involved, all their family and friends, I can’t wait!

H&P found me via a directory and then we met in person not long after at a wedding fair, sometimes you just click with people and know you will be a good match !

Happy December everyone - looking forward to Christmas?! We’ve been a little quiet on IG recently - taking a well-earned break after the very busy 2023 season finished at the end of October! Massive thanks and many congratulations again to all of our 2023 happy couples - it’s been such a memorable year seeing how you’ve all decorated our venue so individually and we can’t thank you enough for having chosen to host your celebrations with us! The Tipis and all of the Bell Tents have finally been dried and packed away for the winter and we now turn our attention (we’ll, in the new year anyway) to 2024… we can’t wait! With that in mind we can now also reveal our new website (link in Bio) with many thanks to @octaveagencyuk for all the design work and @thekensingtonphotographer for the great aerial photo 🙂 Let us know what you think!

And here we are on the last day of World Celebrant Week….Day 7 …

I hope you have enjoyed finding out more about me and Celebrants in general, a Celebrant led ceremony is a fabulous personal alternative to the legal format …relaxed, fun, warm and inclusive, what’s not to like??!

I am always there for my couples and there’s loads of advice I give them, from: ‘take a deep beath’ to ‘don’t forget the tissues’, especially if you are writing your own vows !!

That aside the main piece of advice I always give is to relax and enjoy EVERY moment, I am here for you every step of the way, let’s have fun, smile and laugh – it’s your big day and it will go very fast, believe me!!

I love my role, I think you can tell, lol, and I want you, your family and guests to love and enjoy your ceremony!!

It is here already, DAY 6 of World Celebrant Week….

You may ask why would anyone choose to be a Celebrant?

I didn’t actually choose this path in life; this career chose me…….it was a calling, over six years ago. A deep-down heart led desire to help others!

I met Bill, the wonderful celebrant who conducted my father’s funeral, something clicked, I saw how worthwhile and special a role it is to be there for families at such a time………and the seed was planted!!! Out of grief and tough times comes a rewarding and fulfilling role, which is absolutely ME all over!!
Thank you to Bill!!

I am now living my best life, meeting lovely families and creating and conducting wonderful warm celebratory ceremonies, including in my couples beautiful garden, a dream role!

My Celebrant Inspiration

I love networking as I love people and building relationships with my lovely Celebrant colleagues, who are truly supportive and kind!!

I find inspiration from many of them, and there are quite a few who inspire me, one is my friend and colleague, @susanbelanovich, Celebratewithsue, she is truly amazing with a kind generous heart, and loads of experience, I know she is always there for me!

Another is the lovely and very calming Sheron Burt, @sheronburtyourcelebrant who lives quite close by and is a very heart led and true person like myself, she gives great advice, we meet for coffee and chew the Celebrant cud!

They are both always supportive and kind, they help keep me keep smiling and going through the tough times, a positive beacon of Celebrant specialness, thank you both!!

It is probably my whole attitude to life, I am a very positive person at heart, always smiling, warm, super friendly and caring, I love chatting and getting to know people and it seems that my lovely clients agree ….it’s so hard to talk about yourself so here’s a fabulous review from Dan and Fiona…

Lauren really took the time to get to know us and we had many discussions about what we wanted in our ceremony to make it feel really personal and it was so special. Lauren went above and beyond what we expected and added little touches such as personalised vow books and visiting us and our venue beforehand.

And I have to choose my favourite bits about being a Celebrant, I love it all, but it has to be the fabulous feedback I receive, so gratifying, and wow I have received so many lovely ones, thank you …..but this one has to be the most touching and descriptive, I only knew Jas and Nisha for a relatively short time but it seems they had me sussed!!
